April appetites
A new month has rolled around and we’re back with another edition of #BUROEats. As always, we’ve curated our guide of the new additions to our local F&B scene that we think you should check out this month. From REXKL’s Kai Nusantara Eatery to the fiery Asador V in Bukit Bintang, here are all the new restaurants and cafés to add to your radar this April 2024.

Putting the spotlight on the flavours of Southeast Asia is Kai Nusantara Eatery, a fun foodie hangout in REXKL and the little sister of Chinatown’s Chocha Foodstore. If spice and herbs are your thing, you’ll love the menu here. It details dishes such as young jackfruit rendang, nasi campur tongkol, and bebek goreng—Kai’s special slow-cooked duck leg with sambal and lemang. For those who love offals, its colek perut dan paru dish of crispy beef lungs, tripe, four-angled beans, and peanuts is worthy of a spot on your table.
