Following the appointment of PP Krit and Isabelle Huppert as brand ambassadors in July, the Balenciaga family grew with the addition of Michelle Yeoh. This is not the first time the two parties worked together, as the legendary actress previously attended the brand’s Haute Couture show in July and wore Balenciaga Couture to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet and Kering Women in Motion Dinner. “Wearing Balenciaga makes me value the artistry and craftsmanship behind every piece,” says Yeoh of the announcement. The brand embodies a sense of originality and relevance while always remaining true to its heritage as a couture atelier. It is an honour to partner with Balenciaga.”

Versace welcomes Rosy Zhao as its next global ambassador

Versace strengthened its presence in China with the appointment of Rosy Zhao as Global Brand Ambassador. Prior to the announcement, the leading actress—who is known for her parts in TV dramas including Netflix’s Hidden Love, Who Rules the World, and Love Like the Galaxy—was frequently spotted wearing the Italian label and had just attended the House’s SS24 show in Milan. When asked about the appointment, Zhao says: “The power of Versace is clear to see in the perfectly designed clothes and stunning Italian craftsmanship, but for me, the real power of Versace is how it makes me feel my personal strength when I wear it.” Fun fact: The big news came out on Zhao’s 25th birthday.

Good news, adventure junkies—the National Geographic Apparel store has finally arrived in town. A first in Southeast Asia, the adventure-themed retail store offers high-end outdoor and lifestyle accessories along with an adventure-ready apparel line inspired by the iconic National Geographic brand, which has been associated with travel since 1888. There’s also a carefully curated selection of products, including Gore-tex windproof jackets, water-resistant hiking pants, joggers and other athleisure outfits.

Beyond that, the interior design of the store is inspired by incredible views of natural wonders, with instructive and informational messages on screens to educate shoppers on exploration and conservation. “With the new National Geographic Apparel store, we seek to curate a contemporary and fashion-forward retail environment with elements of National Geographic storytelling. We hope the store on its own will become a destination for all adventure enthusiasts,” Dato Joyce Yap, CEO of Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd, shared in a statement.
