The Exchange TRX is now open—here are 14 first-in-Malaysia stores to visit

Kuala Lumpur has been buzzing in anticipation for years, and the time has finally come—The Exchange TRX has officially opened its doors to visitors from 29 November 2023. A new leisure hub poised to stimulate and elevate Malaysia’s economic growth, the luxury lifestyle destination will set new standards in retail, dining and leisure experiences.

“Our strong tenancy rate is a resounding vote of confidence given by leading international and local brands for the new retail concept that Lendlease is introducing to the market with The Exchange TRX. As Kuala Lumpur’s new social heart, The Exchange TRX disrupts the landscape with its socially immersive, experience-rich approach, reshaping the future of retail,” says Mitch Wilson, Project Director for The Exchange TRX and Head of Retail for Lendlease Malaysia.

With a current 95 per cent occupancy rate comprising over 400 stores spread across 1.3 million square feet of Nett Lettable Area (NLA), The Exchange TRX aims to redefine the country’s retail landscape with an array of prestigious brands and first-in-Malaysia stores, including the following:
