2. CELEBRATE GAWAI DAYAK WITH TRIPTYK AND FRIENDS AT RUMAH ASAP

Although Gawai Dayak was celebrated last weekend, Triptyk is continuing its celebrations with its Rumah Asap barbecue party. It has curated a smokehouse-inspired menu filled with delicacies from Sarawak such as Manok Pansuh and Udang Tunu. All dishes on the menu are cooked on a live fire or within bamboo stems so everything is bound to be extra fiery and flavourful. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy a tasting flight of Tuak during the dinner.

Malaysia’s largest festival for the comic art industry is back at Fahrenheit 88 this weekend with over 260 individual artists ready to showcase their work. On top of getting to know the creative minds behind the comics, you can also participate in workshops to explore the artist within you. Better yet, there are also live demos and panels on the schedule so you can have an all-rounded comic experience. Some artists you’ll see at the festival are Bichi Mao, The Woke Salaryman, Jacktus, and Rynisyou.
