1) Shop at the new Under Armour Brand House City Concept Store

Whether you’re a longtime fitness enthusiast or one of your new year’s resolutions was to start working out more, you’ll want to drop by the brand-new Under Armour Brand House Concept Store in Suria KLCC. The store spans across 5,300 sq ft, making it the largest for the brand in Malaysia. This translates to comfort while browsing an extensive selection of Under Armour products, including latest additions like the Curry Flow 9 Collection and the Street Pack Collection with Sesame Street.

2) Ring in the Year of the Tiger with Remy Martin cocktails

Where: Three X Co KL, G-String KL, Backdoor Bodega Penang, Kingsman Johor Bahru

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, renowned cognac label Remy Martin collaborates with Three X Co to serve up specially crafted signature cocktails curated to please different tastes and preferences, no matter your poison. With the Year of the Tiger officially beginning next week, head down to Three X Co and raise a glass (or two) to welcome a prosperous year ahead. Keep in mind that Three X Co will be closed for a CNY break from 31 January till 4 February, so make sure to drop by this weekend for their last couple days of service for the month!

Besides Three X Co, three other bars across KL, Penang and Johor Bahru will also be offering exclusive Remy Martin cocktails in conjunction with the festive season.

3) Pop by Chinatown Corner’s CNY market for last-minute festive goodies

Where: Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown

When: 29 & 30 January 2022 | 11am till 7pm

Chinatown has historically been the go-to location for the local community to purchase Lunar New Year goods—and Chinatown Corner is reigniting this tradition with a modern twist for the 21st-century crowd. Located on the ground floor of the Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur in Chinatown, Chinatown Corner's Chinese New Year Market features local brands and businesses.

Some of the food items to get are Orange Cardamom Buns from Provisions, Jammy Dodger cookies from Not Cute Sisters, and coffee by barista champion Shaun Liew. 4) Satisfy your sweet tooth at Icon Brewings Patisserie and Cafe

Where: Icon Brewings, Cheras

When: 9am to 8pm daily

Price: RM18 per strudel or RM80 for a box of five strudels for the CNY Ang Pao Strudel series | RM 22 per strudel or RM100 for a box of five strudels for the Tea Series

Well-known in the cafe culture community for flakey, 'gram-worthy pastries, Icon Brewings is sprinkling a little CNY flair on their iconic strudel series. Available in mango, kiwi, strawberry, peach, and blueberry flavours, the Ang Pao strudels can be bought as a set of five or individually. Hankering for seconds? 5) Dress up and get down at Momo’s KL MOJO Night Reunion Edition

Before you head off to your CNY family reunion gatherings, have your own with friends and Momo’s KL at their Reunion Edition MOJO Night. 6) Experience fun CNY activities with REXKL and Carlsberg

The iconic RexKL is celebrating the Lunar New Year with Carlsberg via a series of one-of-a-kind events. As part of their ongoing Lunar Art Festival, RexKL x Carlsberg are bringing in a selection of performances, workshops, and foodie experiences. Catch a street drumming performance by WaiiwaiiDrum; live music acts organised by Dongtaidu, Live Fact, and Stage Reset; RexKL’s House of Tiles workshops; and The Back Ground’s Meat Meet Meat tasting experience—all happening this weekend at RexKL.

7) Unwind to live music at Live Fact KL 

When: 29 January 2022, 8pm

Price: RM35 per ticket

Live Fact KL is bringing more live music performances to you! Headlining Saturday night’s double bill concert are Sabahan-born singer-songwriter Mayabayu, and the winner of 2019 Malaysia Music Week, Nadir. If you’re looking to kick back and just chill out, this evening of good tunes is sure to help you do just that.
