It’s that time of the week again! And by that, we mean it’s time to fill those agendas for the weekend up! As usual, the city will be buzzing with things for you to do, see, and eat, so the issue really is: where do you start? Well, let us help you with that! In this edition of the BURO Weekend Guide, we tell you all you need to know about seven major events—including Summer 2k26 by DEL’CS and  happening in the KL and PJ area this 18 & 19 July 2026. 

 

1. STROLL & SHOP AROUND PASAR SELOKA’S WEEKEND PICNIC AT THE CAMPUS AMPANG

Where: The Campus Ampang

Pasar Seloka is returning to The Campus Ampang for its ever-popular Weekend Picnic, featuring over 60 local brands and vendors. There’s more than just shopping on the agenda. The weekend also includes creative workshops, book swaps at the Museum of Mini Exchanges: Library Crushes, and more, so you’ll have lots to get involved with over the weekend.

2. ASSEMBLE THE WHOLE GROUP CHAT FOR SUMMER 2K26 BY DEL’CS

Where: JAMPJ

The market of the season is here! Summer 2k26 is bringing together a whopping 100+ vendors just for two days at JAMPJ with everything you’ll need for summermaxxing purposes. From Y2K thrifts and tooth gems to handmade accessories and even tattoos, the lineup will make sure you don’t leave empty-handed and all ready for your summer plans. There will also be food and drink vendors and live DJ sets to keep the energy up throughout the weekend.

3. GET STUFFED AT UNWINED PLUS’ ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT DUMPLING PARTY

Where: Unwined Plus

Price: RM98++ per person | Add RM150++ per person for wine

If you’re in the mood for dumplings, we’ve got great news for you! Unwined Plus is hosting the second edition of its Dumpling Party this weekend and you can’t miss out. The star of the menu will be—you guessed it—dumplings and if its previous party was anything to go by, there will also be other bites and carbs on there for you to bulk your meal up with. Each table will get 110 minutes to eat as many dumplings as possible. Make sure to make reservations beforehand!

4. BRING OUT YOUR INNER CREATIVE AT ‘POLY POCKET’ BY LOOOZER

Where: The Pocket

Saturday is set to be a busy one at The Pocket as Poly Pocket will be taking over its space! The event comprises four creative workshops, each running over two sessions during the day. While organisers Looozer host their own matcha making workshop, resident cake maestro Charmaine Wong AKA LinLin Cake will be leading her own beginner-friendly cake decorating session. Meanwhile, Pink&Z will take the reins in the trinket dish painting and shrinking plastic charm making department. Those interested in calligraphy and lettering can learn from Joanne Wong, while others who want to pick up the art of beaded necklaces can join the Ernie’s workshop!

5. JOIN THE LOCAL FILM COMMUNITY AT MIFFEST MARKETPLACE

Where: Town Park, MyTown Shopping Centre

Held conjunction with the 9th Malaysia International Film Festival, the MIFFest Marketplace will be taking place at MyTown Shopping Centre, complete with a marketplace, performances, games, and more. Also on the agenda is the official Malaysia International Film Festival Opening Ceremony, where you’ll be able to see and meet your favourite local artistes and more.

6. EMBRACE SIMPLICITY AT THE WES X GUNG JEWELLERY X SOL LINGERIE COLLAB POP-UP

Where: WES Concept Store, REXKL UP

Simplicity takes the front seat at the WES x Gung Jewellery x Sol pop-up. You’ll get to explore collections from each of the three brands and take part in a flower omakase experience so you’ll have some blooms to bring home with you too.

7.  GET YOUR STEPS & SNAPS IN WITH ZONTIGA’S KODAK CHARMERA PHOTOWALK 2.0

When: 18 July 2026 | 8.30am to 10.30am

Where: Zontiga KL

Price: RM30 per person

Zontiga’s Kodak Charmera Photowalk returns for its second edition and this time it’s all about the 2000s. During the event, you’ll walk through Bukit Bintang with your Charmera in hand, capturing reflections, colours, retro signage, and more—anything that reminds you of the Y2K era, really. To keep things on theme, there is also a Y2K dress code! The morning will end with some coffee, photo sharing, and storytelling.
