7 Things to do this weekend: 19 & 20 November 2022

While we’re rejoicing at the upcoming weekend, don’t forget that it will be a very important one as Malaysia’s 15th general elections will be held tomorrow, November 19, to decide who our leaders will be for the next five years. Apart from performing your civic duty, we’ve also compiled other exciting activities to do over the weekend ahead.

1. Exercise your constitutional right and vote!

Whether you are voting for the first time or you are a seasoned voter, never underestimate the power of your vote to bring about change. If you are aged 18 to 21, this is exciting news as you will be able to cast your vote for the very first time in history! Five million of you from this age group will be first-time voters, but fret not, as we have compiled an infographic of dos and dont’s on polling day. We answer more of your FAQ about GE15 here, and provide a simplified guide to the parties and coalitions in Malaysia here.

Visit SPR’s website for further information or enquiries.

2. Reward yourself for a job well done with these GE15 voter promos

So you’ve gone to your polling station, inked your finger, and crossed out your chosen candidate—great job! Now what? As a token of appreciation for being a responsible citizen, several F&B joints around KL will be offering special promos and discounts, so simply turn up with your inked finger and enjoy the perks.
