From trying out a new hot pot restaurant to visiting immersive pop-ups around KL, here are seven exciting activities to do this weekend:

 

1. Do some sole-searching at the Superga x Motherchuckers pop-up

Where: APW Bangsar 

Famous sneaker brand Superga has teamed up with local lifestyle brand Motherchuckers for their first Southeast Asian collaboration! Explore the collection yourself at APW Bangsar, where you can see and feel all six looks as well as other Motherchuckers merchandise. The Superga x Motherchuckers Collection will officially launch on 12 November at 10am online and in-stores across Malaysia and Singapore.

2. Celebrate an anthology of nostalgic music and arts at Rumah Tangsi

To celebrate their 10th year anniversary, Malaysian-based vocal group Tapestry will be performing at the heritage mansion of Rumah Tangsi over the weekend. Titled Anthology, it will explore the importance of music and the arts through intimate performances of pop, rock, jazz, and musical theatre numbers that evoke a sense of nostalgia—sung a cappella or with a live three-piece band. Part of the proceeds from Anthology will also be donated to Rumah Shalom, a foster home for underprivileged children in Puchong.

3. Enjoy authentic Sichuan hotpot at Zui Ma Tou Hot Pot

Where: Lot 4.87.00, Level 4, Orange Zone, Pavilion Bukit Jalil 

Thinking of where to curb your hotpot cravings? The all-new Zui Ma Tou Hot Pot hailing from Chengdu, China has recently launched in Pavilion Bukit Jalil! The first in Malaysia, the hotpot establishment aims to create a new way of enjoying hotpot through evolving classic Sichuan cuisine into hotpot dishes such as the Twice-cooked Pork and Boiled Pork Belly with Garlic Sauce. Other standouts include their Eight-second Potato Noodles, Iberico Luncheon Meat and Cheesy Fish Balls. Their spicy Mala broth and signature Fish Maw Chicken Soup are also not to be missed.

Where: Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

Located outside Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s main entrance, visitors can explore Calvin Klein’s latest denim offerings by perusing a digital lookbook featuring Jennie, Alicia Armin, Nyk, Dolla, Yaya Zahir, and more. The images highlight the versatility of Calvin Klein denim and visitors can get inspiration on how to style their favourite pair of CK jeans. Further, there will be several pairs of jeans displayed such as the new 90s Straight Jeans, Italian Denim and Ultimate Stretch in various fits.

6. Feed on greens at RexKL’s Sunday vegan buffet

7. Kick off your weekend at the Hublot Loves Football pop-up

When: 2 to 13 November 2022

Where: Centre Court, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur 

In light of Hublot’s appointment as the Official Timekeeper of the 2022 FIFA World Cup for the fourth consecutive season, the Swiss watchmaker kicked off celebrations with an interactive pop-up for football fans.
