It looks like Los Angeles is climbing up the ranks in the fashion world, as Moschino leaves London to present its June runway show in the California city this year. Moschino is to headline Made Los Angeles—a lineup of runway shows, presentations and events on fashion, music and art to be held at L.A. Live’s Event Deck space on 10 and 11 June.
The Moschino show will take place on the 10th, and the lineup will combine the luxury brand’s Spring/Summer ’17 Men’s and Cruise ’17 Women’s collections. Of the decision to move the show from London to Los Angeles, creative director Jeremy Scott says: “As I’ve been a Los Angelono now for over a decade, the thought to transplant my Moschino show to the west coast for a special showing has been on my mind since I took the role as Creative Director. So when WME | IMG and MADE let me know they were brewing up an idea to do something in LA, it took me no time at all to say ‘Yes!'”
