Florence Pugh is the latest brand ambassador for Maison Valentino

If you’ve been following the world of fashion closely, or rather, red-carpet fashion, you’d notice that the relationship between the British star and Italian Maison Valentino has been established for quite some time, growing even stronger over the past year or so. Who can forget her stunning see-through high-neck chiffon Pink PP dress worn at the ‘Valentino: The Beginning‘ Haute Couture 2023 show, which sparked quite the controversy? Not forgetting the jaw-dropping off-shoulder poufy glitter tulle dress with a dramatic train for the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. Coupled with her don’t-give-a-damn attitude, the look earned it the “revenge dress” moniker due to her then-feud with the movie’s director and fellow actress, Olivia Wilde. It’s clear to us that Pugh and Valentino are a match made in heaven!

This is why today’s announcement of Pugh as the new Valentino DI.VA feels like a long time coming. The superstar breathes life into every Valentino design she dresses in. According to the House, the actress “brings new relevance to the contemporary scenario with her vitality and humanity.” From her spunky character as Amy March in Little Women to master assassin Yelena Belova in the MCU’s Black Widow, Pugh has been embraced worldwide for her extraordinary talents on screen and for being her authentic self when the camera stops rolling. The English rose joins the likes of Zendaya, Lewis Hamilton, and most recently, Suga of BTS as the face of the brand.

In Valentino’s latest campaign shot by renowned photographer Steven Meisel, the leading lady showcases a range of emotions through her facial expressions and body language—from crying to screaming and laughing–portraying her magnetic yet relatable persona. In this series of photos, Pugh poses with the new Valentino Garavani Rockstud23 bag, which features the iconic pyramid-shaped stud that is inspired by Roman palace doors.

Ahead, look at some more of her memorable Valentino moments!
