Emma Stone is the new face of Louis Vuitton

Shortly after the opening of its flagship store on Place Vendôme in Paris, Louis Vuitton is making headlines again with the announcement of its newest face. The brand has tapped award-winning actress Emma Stone as its ambassador, breaking the news over the weekend via Instagram. In the black-and-white shot, Louis Vuitton’s Women Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière posed alongside the 28-year old actress before she walked the red carpet at the European premiere her latest flick, Battle Of The Sexes, during the 61st BFI London Film Festival.

This marks Stone’s debut as the face of a luxury fashion house, with the two-year deal that encompasses TV and prints ads worldwide alongside red carpet appearances. According to Page Six, “LVMH has been pursuing Emma for nearly a year, she was initially reluctant, but now she has agreed to be the face of the brand for two years for a figure between $6 and $10 million.” The star is reportedly a muse and friend of Ghesquière, joining his list of A-list friends including Jennifer Connelly, Sophie Turner, Riley Keough, and Jaden Smith. Previously, the maison’s roster of faces include The Danish Girl star Alicia Vikander and Blue Valentine‘s Michelle Williams.
