Louis Vuitton partners with UNICEF to support children in need

Louis Vuitton has signed a global partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) with the aim to raise funds for the organization and support children who are exposed to conflict, diseases, natural disasters and other situations that threaten their safety and well-being.

The leading humanitarian and development organization, UNICEF provides children with essential protection, health care, safe water, nutrition and education. This partnership with Louis Vuitton sees a specially designed product, the Silver Lockit, that is inspired by the unpickable tumbler lock invented by Georges Vuitton in 1890 as a symbol of protection—also sealing one’s promise to help children in urgent need. For each sale of the Silver Lockit bracelet or pendant, $200 will be donated to UNICEF. Alongside the Silver Lockit, Louis Vuitton’s digital campaign #MAKEAPROMISE aims to raise awareness and funds around the world at the occasion of the sixth biennial UNICEF Ball in Los Angeles.

Make a direct donation to UNICEF or purchase the Silver Lockit online and in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide.
