Balmain delivers a solid Spring/Summer '16 presentation that is sure to please, intertwining strong, sexy silhouettes with a feminine flair

"A unique Balmain DNA"—surely that is what Olivier Rousteing has embraced and developed since he took creative reign at the luxury house four years ago, and that was exactly what his Spring/Summer '16 collection conveyed. Feminine ruffles shared the limelight with sultry crisscross constructions and lattice designs, portraying the Balmain woman who is bold and sexy, yet exudes soft sensuality as she wishes.

Statement accessories were key on the runway, with dangling chandelier earrings, oversized metal collars and wide belts to cinch the looks with strong punctuation.

When a fashion powerhouse puts on a show backed by a designer who is a social media star in his own right and his Balmain army of supermodels, expect no less than a star-studded affair—this season's front row included DiploJada Pinkett SmithTravis ScottJoe Jonas, and Kris Jenner.
