LFW SS16: Emilia Wickstead

Emilia Wickstead turned the King’s Cross catwalk into a beautiful, wecoming space decorated with bubblegum pink carpet to match her sweet ’50s inspired collection.

The presentation displayed a wonderful array of graphic and floral delights, as well as candy stripes, doused in soft hues of pink, apricot, mustard and pistachio.

Dresses ground the core of Emilia Wickstead’s collection; infused with a lovely play on shapes, there were dramatic, billowy silhouettes alongside medieval-inspired bishop sleeves, whose melodramatic effects were toned down by the repertoire’s sweet pastel theme.
