Do you recall your days at university? From attending academic lectures and seminars to cramming study sessions, joining fun clubs and organisations, and indulging in late-night partying, students engage in a wide range of activities to enhance their uni experience and forge lifelong friendships. This is why college days are often meant to be the best of your life.
For Spring/Summer 2024, Longchamp draws inspiration from the vibrant and carefree days of university students, infusing it with the lively energy that characterises campus life. The collection features varsity shirts and jackets alongside relaxed, effortless ‘fits that are perfect for a Parisian summer day. Renowned photographer and director Elaine Constantine captures the exuberant spirit of Longchamp University in the newly released fashion campaign. Constantine, known for her ability to evoke positivity through her lens, has been a prominent figure in the industry since the 1990s, having contributed extensively to publications such as The Face, as well as Vogue editions from Italy, France, and America. Her work has been exhibited at prestigious venues like The Photographers’ Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum, with two of her portraits now residing in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery.
Set against the soundtrack of Alright by Supergrass, the campaign, shot at the prestigious Lycée Henri IV in Paris, is brimming with energy. Below, you’ll see visuals portraying a lively group of students adorned in Longchamp’s colourful and upbeat style.
“She is brilliant at conveying energy and joie de vivre. I really wanted an upbeat campaign because it’s important to accentuate the positive, and Elaine excels in the art of creating images that are full of happiness and optimism.”
— Longchamp Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine
Additionally, in the campaign released specifically for Asia, Korean actress Kim Se-Jeong, an ambassador for the brand, takes centre stage.

Back in our city, an event celebrating Longchamp University was hosted at the Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur, a fitting choice given its operation as a French language school. The lively and colourful campus décor enveloped guests in an atmosphere reminiscent of a Parisian college. Take a look at the cool kids who graced the event.
