Buro 24/7 Malaysia and Miu Miu celebrate its MiuLady pop-up installation
The first in the region, the MiuLady pop-up installation is anything but simple. Only opened to public from the 5th of September onwards, Buro 24/7 Malaysia had an exclusive preview of the exhibition yesterday, and we invited two of our Friends of Buro—Zaida Ibrahim and Venice Min along for a first look. A step into the main entrance of Pavilion KL and you'll notice the baby-pink-and-black carpet on the mall's signature Spanish steps that leads to the installation at the Centre Court; what first caught our attention, are the three supersized bejeweled MiuLady bags which are no doubt the focal points (and a great spot for photo-ops!) of the event. Made from Madras leather—the same material as the product, the "interior" of each of the giant MiuLady bags houses screens that display a short film of the product, including a video on the making of the gorgeous bag.
At night, Miu Miu invited its esteemed customers, members of the media and KOLs for an intimate cocktail event, and three of our Friends of Buro—Venice Min, Cherrie and Evangeline Liong were specially dressed by Buro 24/7 Malaysia for it. They spent the night mingling with fellow guests such as Jane Chuck, Debbie Goh and Fyza Kadir, while immersing themselves in everything MiuLady (including personalised MiuLady cookies and Miu Miu stickers). Aside from browsing through the bags from the collection, guests of the night can also have their pictures printed at the Miu Miu store with the hashtag #MiuLady.
The MiuLady pop-up installation is currently happening at the Pavilion KL Centre Court from 5 to 10 September 2017. For more information, click here.
