The MIUlady bag is no doubt one of the brand’s most loved piece as of late, but did you know that the structured carrier has only been around for a short two years? Available in an array of colours and textures, the bag is made for ladies who are all for head-turning looks. Made from fine madras leather with a selection of soft calfskin, silky velvet or rich tapestry, the collection features a punchy colour palette that exudes a playful vibe, pulled together by its feminine silhouette.
The focal point of the bag, is the oversized brass belt buckle (which is a mix of Baroque and Western flair) that adorns the flap closure. Hand-embellished with gemstones in bright contrasting colours—making it almost like a jewellery itself, it gives the (already) eye-catching carrier that perk-me-up. To celebrate the much-loved MIUlady bag, Miu Miu will be presenting a pop-up installation at Pavilion KL Centre Court from the 4th to 10th of September, and open to public from the 5th of September onwards. Three gigantic bejeweled MIUlady bags—made from Madras leather, no less—will also be presented at the exhibition.
