#ForYouPage: 13 TikTok creators to follow for insightful fashion content

While we’ve grown accustomed to the filtered and regimented posts of fashion influencers on Instagram, TikTok has ushered in a new wave of influence that see creators generate engaging conversation and content in fun and exciting ways. The video content sharing platform birthed new trends and subcultures that have gone on to influence the wider industry; became a one-stop central for ingenious style tips and endless outfit inspiration; and created niche communities of users with an appetite for raw, opinionated and often humorous content.

Over in TikTok land, substance and keeping it real takes precedent over curated fluff. As independent commentators and personalities move the algorithm more than a pretty filter or sponsorship ever will, fashion also became more content-driven, attainable and even learned how to not take itself so seriously across its open, inclusive domain. #ootds were traded for #personalstyle, #whatidwear and #fashionhacks, while a DIY renaissance was sparked and Y2K nostalgia reached an all-time high.

Whether you’re a veteran TikToker or only recently decided to hop onto the bandwagon, there’s much to glean from and be entertained by TikTok’s burgeoning fashion community. Below, we’ve rounded up some of the best creators to check out on the platform:
