The Onitsuka Tiger Factory Blends Craft and Innovation

Onitsuka Tiger enters a new chapter with the launch of the Onitsuka Innovative Factory Corporation in Tottori Prefecture, the birthplace of founder Kihachiro Onitsuka. The state-of-the-art facility brings the entire creative process under one roof, from material development to design and production.

Beyond manufacturing, the site is envisioned as a cultural hub celebrating the brand’s heritage. It will also partner with the Milan Design Centre and the Asics Institute of Sport Science to explore pioneering research in advanced sports technology. The facility will ramp up production of premium footwear, including the Nippon Made Series and The Onitsuka leather shoes, while also introducing the brand’s first leather bags.

Bonia celebrates its 50-year legacy with the opening of a new concept store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Located on the fourth floor, the space draws inspiration from Bologna, Italy, reflected in warm terracotta tones, symmetrical lines, and handcrafted details. Inside, four rooms trace the brand’s journey, from heritage and femininity to its expansion into menswear and leather craftsmanship. The opening was also marked by the debut of Joong Archen as the muse for Bonia’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, with the Thai actor making an exclusive appearance at the launch.

Jaden Smith makes his debut at Christian Louboutin with an immersive exhibition that brings together fashion, art, music, and history. Louboutin’s signature red comes alive as a kaleidoscope, framing shoes, textures, and artworks inspired by the everyday lives of working men through the centuries.

The exhibition feels like a journey. It begins with Trapman, a classic silhouette reimagined through a 1990s hip-hop lens, and moves to The Corteo, celebrating Louboutin Men’s heritage. The Loafers Display offers three playful takes on the iconic Penny loafer while the TCT I Display presents a tactical, waterproof-inspired shoe that merges technical innovation with quiet elegance.
