Good Vibes Festival 2024: The full artist lineup and ticket prices

After Good Vibes Festival 2023 was prematurely cancelled on its 10th anniversary following an incident involving The 1975’s Matty Healy, many music lovers and concert-goers were concerned about how the controversy would affect the music festival and the local live music industry moving forward. Now 10 months after the scandal that made international headlines, Future Sound Asia has made their stance loud and clear: the good vibes are back on.

Happening on 20 and 21 July 2024, Malaysia’s biggest music festival will see the return of its much-loved two-day format at Resorts World Awana, specifically at the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets (GHPO) bus parking lot. This marks the first time in five years that the beloved music festival is making a comeback at the cool hills of Genting Highlands

THE LINEUP

Following the teaser of her tour dates on Instagram as well as the use of her song in #GVF2024’s promotion poster, many fans have already guessed that Peggy Guo (It Goes Like (Nanana), Starry Night) is performing at this year’s Good Vibes Festival. Fresh off her stint at Coachella, the Berlin-based South Korean DJ will headline the event with her electrifying beats. Other headliners include Colombian sensation, J Balvin (La Canción, MiGente), multifaceted rapper and singer-songwriter Russ (Zoo, Shake the Snow Globe), and global sensation, Joji (Glimpse of Us, Slow Dancing in the Dark) who will make his return to the festival since 2019.

Adding to the international lineup are two South Korean artists making their debut in Malaysia, namely rising star Bibi (Bibi Vengeance, The Weekend), who is known for her magnetic stage presence and witty rap lyrics, and legendary hip-hop husband and wife duo Tiger JK (I Want You, Do You Know Hiphop?) and Yoon Mirae (Always, Flower). Further, Alec Benjamin (Let Me Down Slowly, Water Fountain) will showcase his captivating storytelling on stage whilst Vancouver quartet Peach Pit (Seventeen, Peace Pit) is set to serenade the crowd with their breezy guitar melodies and quirky anthems.

The festival will also see several rising stars perform such as TikTok artist Henry Moodie (Drunk Text, Beat Up Car), who has amassed a large following for his viral singles, Singaporean artist Haven (Ride or Die, No Hard Feelings) and Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter Ylona Garcia (Entertain Me, Don’t Go Changing).

Meanwhile, Good Vibes Festival will also feature the best of local talents. Dance to the techno beats of Cherry Bomb, a female DJ supergroup featuring Aidaho, Ashley Lau and Jovynn; groove to funky R&B melodies by Saint Kylo (Bad Bad, Paid For); discover the indie-synth pop sounds of Lost Spaces (35.mm, discohaze); and brace yourselves for a high-octane performance by Mr Yang

Other homegrown acts performing at the festival include Shelhiel (AAA, Love, Repeat), a multidisciplinary artist who recently performed at Clockenflap, math rock band The Filters (BZD, John Pine), newcomer Mardiana (I Don’t Care, Please Just Stay in Love), fan-favourite Talitha (Okay, Feelin’ Cute), and up-and-coming pop band Ty:Del (So In Love (Tonight), Bad Together).
