All the exciting live concerts in KL to look forward to in 2024

In 2023, we’ve seen a plethora of international stars show up on our shores and lit up the stage with their sold-out shows. Some of the standout acts included artists from a range of genres such as Coldplay, Muse, Fall Out Boy, K-pop groups BlackPink and NCT, and Thai band Tilly Birds

Fortunately, the momentum of the concert season is still going strong into the new year as Malaysians can already look forward to several thrilling live concerts that have been confirmed in the coming months. From Ed Sheeran’s highly awaited concert and an array of K-pop superstars gracing us with their presence to Boys Like Girls, here are the most exciting live concerts in KL to look forward to in 2024–mark your calendars!

Boys Like Girls: Spring Tour 2024

Are you ready to make the great escape? Because Boys Like Girls is coming back to Malaysia! On 2 January 2024, the iconic US-pop band announced the Southeast Asian edition of their world tour and Malaysia has not one but two dates set (because two is better than one, right?). Apart from their Kuala Lumpur concert, Boys Like Girls will also be performing at the Sky Arena in Kota Kinabalu on 22 April. Get ready for a night of nostalgic hits such as The Great Escape, Thunder and Love Drunk as well as new music from the quartet’s latest album, Sunday at Foxwoods.

All Time Low: Forever Asia 2024 Tour

Celebrating 20 years in the music industry, All Time Low will be returning to Malaysia for the first time since 2011 for a night of punk rock goodness. The quartet consisting of lead vocalist Alex Gaskarth, guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist Zack Merrick and drummer Rian Dawson, will perform songs from their ninth studio album, Tell Me I’m Alive, as well as some of their greatest hits such as Good Times, Remembering Sunday and Monster.

This is for the headbangers and hair whippers! Prepare for an epic night of 90s rock as Incubus returns to Malaysia for the Asian leg of their world tour. Malaysian Uaenas, rejoice! If you missed IU when she was in Malaysia to promote her Blueming tour, you’re in luck as she will be returning to KL once again for the Southeast Asian leg of the H.E.R World Tour! The K-pop megastar will be performing tracks from her upcoming new album, which marks her foray back to music in two years. As a singer-songwriter and actress, IU is a widely respected artist who has amassed a large following for her powerful vocals and thoughtful lyrics. Iconic boy band, Westlife, will return to the arena after 24 years for a special one-night performance! The Rose: Dawn to Dusk Tour
