Five films we can’t wait to watch in 2016

Hail, Caesar!, 5 February

The glamorous Golden Age of Hollywood is back with Hail, Caesar! A film by the Coen brothers, we can’t wait to watch this one because of all its references to MGM studios and the fact that Channing Tatum is a tap-dancing sailor in the film.

Deadpool, 12 February

Deadpool hasn’t exactly made an appearance in the film world – except for an appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but already the cheeky antihero has snagged his own film for 2016. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool may just be the most fun X-Men film to ever be made.

Zoolander 2, 12 February

It’s been a whopping 15 years since we were introduced to the likes of supermodel extraordinaire Derek Zoolander. On 12 February, Zoolander returns with Hansel McDonald to put a stop to an assassination of a music celebrity.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, 25 March

A legendary first for DC Comics, Batman v. Superman will combine two of its biggest superheroes on the big screen, complete with Wonder Woman too. There are just too many reasons to want to watch this one, even if Ben Affleck is playing Batman.

The Jungle Book, 15 April

The 1967 Disney adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s 1894 story, The Jungle Book was an unforgettable part of many of our childhoods. In April, this legendary story gets its first (mostly) live-action adaptation (with lots of CGI, of course), with another one apparently in the works.
