A look at Lizzie McGuire's updated bangs, YSL Beauty's star-studded pop-up at Pavilion KL and more beauty news
In the headlines last week, Hilary Duff shows us a sneak peek from the hair and makeup trailer at the filming of Lizzie McGuire, YSL Beauty's all-pink takeover of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur's main entrance will leave you starry-eyed, while cult-favourite skincare brand Tatcha officially lands on our shores.
Also, check out Bella Hadid's short-to-long bob and Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes' new tattoos (can we get an 'awww'):
Bella Hadid rocks a bob at the Fashion Festival in Paris
The 23-year old supermodel shows that she can pull off just about anything with a fresh bob cut at Vogue's Fashion Festival in Paris over the weekend. The shortest hairdo she has debuted so far, her chin-grazing dark brunette locks is one of her many hair transformations she has sported just this year. How cute is her short-in-front, long-at-the-back look?
Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes get tattoos together
Getting inked at the same time seems to be a new dating ritual for celebrity couples these days. Pop star duo Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes took inspiration from Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson by hitting up the tattoo parlour to get tattoos-albeit, not matching ones (phew). LA-based artist Kane Navasard took to Instagram to show his work on the couple-a letter "A" for Mendes behind his ear, and a quote inspired by Shakespeare in Love in the inside of the pinky finger for Mendes.
A first look at Lizzie McGuire’s new bangs
As if we couldn’t get any more stoked about this reboot, Hilary Duff showed us a BTS shot of her new Lizzie McGuire look on set earlier this week. If you were a firm favourite of her super cute, hairband-cinched ‘do back in 2001, check out her revamped fringe that’s wispy and face-framing in the most flattering way. Serving lewks, indeed.

Celebrity-favourite skincare brand Tatcha is now available on Sephora
You've seen it on Instagram, you've heard celebrities—like Kim Kardashian West and Meghan Markle—rave about it, and now it's finally here. Hold on to your purses (or maybe not), because Japanese cult skincare brand Tatcha has landed on our Malaysian shores as of 14 November and it's exclusively available on Sephora, both online and in-app.
Synonymous with dewy, glowing skin, the brand is known for its luxurious yet effective and gentle products that are formulated to mimic the centuries-old beauty routines of geishas (because who wouldn't want their luminous skin?) using Japanese superfoods such as rice, algae and green tea. Not sure what to add to your cart? Start with some of these best-sellers:
- The Dewy Skin Cream is a rich-textured cream that's packed with Japanese purple rice to replenish moisture in normal to dry skin types.
- The Water Cream is an oil-free formula that nourishes combi-oily skin with powerful botanicals to bring out a shine-free glow.
- The Rice Polish: Classic is Meghan Markle's fave for good reason: the powder-to-foam exfoliant doesn't strip away moisture and leaves skin as soft as silk.
- Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is what Kim K swears by to set her makeup. Spritz this silky mist moisturiser under AND over makeup anytime for dewy skin in a sec.
- The Silk Canvas Primer is an all-in-one primer for the face, eyes and lips that blurs imperfections while keeping makeup and pollution out of skin to prevent clogged pores.
The Body Shop launches its #DreamBig holiday collection
Treat yourself to your wildest dreams this festive season with The Body Shop's Dream Big Christmas Collection. We had a sneak peek at their countless limited-edition gift sets, exclusive Christmas party makeup collection and special edition festive fragrances at their Fahrenheit 88 branch and it was all as delectable as it sounds.
Standout products from the collection include the Warm Vanilla festive sack (RM99), the Rich Plum Delights set (RM49), the Body Butter Festive Star (RM129) and more. Alongside that, the 'Closing The Loop' initiative was also launched to help the company to reduce its environmental impact. Customers who bring back their empty bottles can enjoy RM1 off their next purchase, and their plastic waste will be recycled into fragrance charms.
Purchases made from now till December 2019 will contribute to supporting Plan International, a global children's charity working towards providing training and skills for 1,500 girls in Brazil and Indonesia to give them the means to dream big.
