7 Discontinued Makeup Products That Deserve a Second Chance on Shelves
Bring them back, pronto!
Gone but never forgotten, these discontinued makeup products deserve to make a triumphant return to shelves.
When Lancôme brought back its iconic Juicy Tubes last year, it wasn’t just a nod to the early 2000s—it was a clear sign that beauty is officially looking backwards to move forward. With trends moving at breakneck speed, even the most beloved products can vanish overnight, sending fans into full-on hoarding mode, clutching half-used backups and long-expired treasures.
But as Juicy Tubes has shown us, cult classics never really disappear—they just wait for the perfect moment to reclaim their place in our makeup bags. The tides of beauty trends are turning, and the “clean girl” aesthetic is finally loosening its grip, making room for the bold, playful looks that once had us lining up for launch days and swapping tips in beauty forums. It’s this return to colour, fun, and personality that makes the loss of so many timeless products sting even more.
From lip glosses that defined our teenage selves to face palettes we fought over with friends, it’s high time these discontinued staples made a long-overdue comeback.
TOO FACED CHOCOLATE BON BONS EYESHADOW PALETTE

One glance at Chocolate Bon Bons and it was clear: Too Faced had created an eyeshadow palette worth obsessing over. Released in December 2015 as part of its Chocolate Bar collection, this little gem quickly became a crowd favourite among the lineup—and it’s easy to see why.
Featuring 16 matte and shimmer shades in heart-shaped pans, the palette offers everything from playful pops of colour to everyday neutrals, all infused with a chocolate scent we secretly wished we could eat. Fans also raved about its true-to-pan pigmentation, buttery texture, and its compact tin packaging shaped like a mini chocolate bar that made it the most adorable keepsake.
URBAN DECAY ORIGINAL NAKED PALETTE

When it comes to eyeshadow palettes, the original Naked palette is the ultimate holy grail. Released in 2010, it quickly became a must-have for beauty obsessives everywhere. With its sleek brown packaging, 12 carefully curated shades, and flawless mix of browns, pinks, and silvers, it was the go-to palette for literally any occasion.
It ran for eight years before being discontinued in 2018, leaving fans mourning one of the most iconic products of the decade. Urban Decay brought it back for a limited edition run in 2024, with minor tweaks including a slightly longer mirror, a cruelty-free brush, and creamier shadows for smoother blending and longer wear. Here’s hoping it makes a permanent return someday because some classics are just too good to stay gone.
MAC COSMETICS PIGMENTS

Nothing screams 2010s makeup like glitter—and MAC Cosmetics’ Pigments were the ultimate way to bring it. These highly concentrated loose powders could be used for a subtle wash of colour or an intense, eye-catching look. They were the coveted tool for bold, creative expression, and there’s no denying that our ‘Clean Girl’ world is in dire need of a little sparkle.
Each container comes packed with product, so you’d never run out too quickly, and with their highly pigmented formula, a little really does go a long way. Fans found countless ways to experiment, from dabbing them onto nail polish for a shimmery finish to layering them over lips as a sparkling topper. Shades like Tan, Helium, and Copper Sparkle became instant favourites, and while some are still available today, most of the original line has sadly been discontinued.
MARC JACOBS BEAUTY O!MEGA BRONZER

When Marc Jacobs Beauty quietly bowed out in 2021, the O!Mega Bronzer left a gaping hole in many makeup bags. Touted for its oversized pan and finely milled formula that blended seamlessly into the skin, beauty lovers have since been scrambling to find a worthy dupe, but few have come close. Whether swept across the cheeks or dusted all over for a sun-kissed effect, this bronzer delivered a natural matte finish that was effortlessly flattering and foolproof, never turning orange or muddy. With whispers of Marc Jacobs Beauty making a comeback in the near future, here’s to hoping that the O!Mega Bronzer returns, too.
KYLIE COSMETICS ORIGINAL MATTE LIP KITS

Haven’t you heard? 2026 is basically the new 2016, and nothing defined that era quite like Kylie Cosmetics’ Matte Lip Kits. Each kit paired a liquid lipstick with a matching liner, making Jenner’s signature pout easy to recreate.
While the brand still sells its matte lip kits with updated formulas today, many of the original cult-favourite shades are long gone, sending fans hunting on resale sites. Classics like Candy K, Dolce K, True Brown K, Mary Jo K, and Posie K were staples of the OG Lip Kit era, while limited editions like Koko K, Freedom, and Skylie became instant collector’s treasures. Last year, the King Kylie Collection revived some iconic shades and introduced a few new ones. While it sparked serious nostalgia, fans are still hoping for a regular restock.
DIOR BEAUTY POWDER NO POWDER

For a flawless finish without the dreaded powdery look, Dior’s Powder No Powder was a true game-changer. Part of its Backstage line, this translucent powder blurred imperfections, softened texture, and left skin matte yet luminous—a combination that had beauty lovers swooning.
Unlike traditional powders, it felt almost skin-like, never settling into fine lines or looking cakey. Its versatility was a fan favourite: wear it over bare skin, layer it on foundation to mattify and set, or choose a slightly deeper shade to warm the complexion. Though many shades are now discontinued and increasingly hard to find, Powder No Powder will forever uphold its legacy.
ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS AMREZY HIGHLIGHTER

The Amrezy Highlighter became legendary the moment it hit shelves. Created in collaboration with beauty influencer Amra Olević (a.k.a. Amrezy), this champagne-gold highlighter delivered a radiant, blinding finish that fans dubbed “sun in a compact.” What set it apart was its ultra-smooth formula that melted seamlessly into the skin without ever looking glittery or chunky—and it worked beautifully on all skin tones.
Sweep it across cheekbones, dab it on the cupid’s bow, or layer it over collarbones to instantly elevate any look. Though it was a limited-edition release and has since been discontinued (with rare restocks selling out fast), the Amrezy Highlighter remains a legend among beauty lovers, who still reminisce fondly about its golden days.
