The New York story continues: Stepping out in the Big Apple was the theme of Michael Kors' Autumn/Winter 2022 runway show, presented at the iconic music venue Terminal 5 in Manhattan to an euphonious performance by Miguel. "For this show, I wanted to bring the excitement and energy of a night on the town to life—because I think right now, no matter where you are, we’re all craving that,” said the eponymous designer. “And the clothes are really everything you need for stepping up, stepping out and making an entrance.” And so it was. Presented by a cast of supers including Adut Akech, Precious Lee, Alton Mason, Isabeli Fontana, Irina Shayk and the Hadid sisters, the collection toyed with the art of revealing and concealing––including everything from short hemlines to dramatic hoods and skin-baring cutouts.
