APPLE IPHONE 15 AND IPHONE 15 PRO
The all-new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are now powered by the A16 Bionic chip that features a 5-core GPU with 50 per cent more memory bandwidth and a 6-core CPU. Apple is introducing its tougher Ceramic Shield display to the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus and the screen will feature an increased peak display brightness of up to 2,000 nits.
The cameras have been significantly upgraded with a 48MP Main Camera (quad-pixel sensor) with a 2x telephoto option for a total of three optical zoom levels. One of the most obvious updates to the display in the base models is the Dynamic Island. This feature shows interactive elements like audio playback and active calls, and even expands to show more relevant information.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max have shifted to a stainless steel design to make the model lighter, with a thinner bezel that gives it more screen area. The classic silent switch has also been changed to an action button, which can be customised to perform actions like launching the camera, starting a voice memo, and more.
The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max run on the A17 Pro chip, which Apple claims to be “the fastest chip ever on any smartphone.” The cameras have been given significant upgrades which include a more advanced 48MP Main camera system that now supports the new super-high-resolution 24MP default. The Pro camera lenses also have a new coating that reduces lens flare, and the ultra-wide camera lens provides improved night mode and macro photography.
