3) Treat yourself to the Chitose Strawberry Afternoon Tea at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur
Collaborating with Chitose Agri Laboratory, Mandarin Oriental KL’s newest afternoon tea offering will be available from 1 August to 30 September 2020. In addition to being the only farm growing and selling Japanese strawberries in Malaysia, Chitose produces strawberries all year round within a three-acre space in Cameron Highlands.
Naturally sweet with a slightly crunchy texture, the strawberries have been incorporated into red and pink afternoon treats by Executive Sous Chef Gérald Genson and the pastry team. The menu includes Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Chocolate Mille-feuille, Red Velvet Strawberry Mousse, Grilled Tuna with Balsamic Mayonnaise and Strawberry Caviar, as well as Bresaola Tortellini stuffed with Caramelised Onion on Strawberry Carpaccio.
