The seats are wider and fully flat, there’s extra stowage space and even the in-flight entertainment system has been upgraded to a 16-inch touch screen. Welcome aboard to the Business Class cabin of the Malaysia Airlines A330-300 aircraft.
Regarded as one of the best received business class seats in the industry, they have been refreshed with the passengers’ ultimate comfort and privacy needs in mind. With a seat pitch measuring at 44 inches, the 20-inch wide seat can now turn into a fully flat 76-inch bed, complete with plush linen.
“This marks the start of an exciting product roll-out for our Business Class customers to experience. The Business Class cabin refurbishment will be carried out in stages on all 15 of Malaysia Airlines’ A330 aircraft by September 2016,” said Malaysia Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer Paul Simmons.
The new Business Class seats, however, are only available on Malaysia Airlines’ A330 flights between Kuala Lumpur and Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, China and India. The first flight with the new seats will take off on 23 March 2016 from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney.
