2. Catch the latest in entertainment on Disney+ Hotstar

There’s plenty of new films and even cinematic concert experiences to keep you entertained this weekend on Disney+ Hotstar, including the premiere of the highly-anticipated Cruella movie (read BURO’s interview with actress Emma Stone here) and Billie Eilish’s debut with "Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles”.

The latter features seven time Grammy award-winning artist Billie Eilish's brand-new album "Happier Than Ever", which was written by her and her brother Finneas, who also produced the album. Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Oscar-winner Patrick Osborne, the special concert film will also include animated elements, taking viewers on a dreamlike journey through Billie’s hometown of Los Angeles and its most iconic backdrops.

Watch both films and more new shows on Disney+ Hotstar.

3. Invest in a new Rimowa Essentials suitcase

Where: Rimowa stores

We know your old suitcase has been gathering dust at a forsaken corner of your home, but with news of Langkawi opening up for the ‘travel bubble’ pilot project, it’s a good time to invest in a new suitcase. Even if you prefer to stay home for the time being, the latest additions to the Rimowa Essentials collection are too cute to resist.

Inspired by Thailand’s famed floating markets, the new suitcases arrive in two fresh seasonal shades, Mango and Bamboo. The Mango Orange version pays homage to the country’s ubiquitous fruit that’s a staple in many Thai dishes, while the Bamboo Green suitcase is a pastel-hued take on the locally grown tree that’s used in everything from construction to cuisine.

Both colourways come in three sizes, Cabin, Check-In L and Trunk Plus, and are available in RImowa stores worldwide from September 2, 2021.

Initiated by Yuinny Soong, who comes from an advertising background, the We Love You Box is a collaborative initiative to share love and gratitude in the form of care packages and message dedications to our medial frontliners. The initiative aims to raise at least RM640,000 for 10 medical and quarantine centres around the country, equivalent to more than 10,000 healthcare workers dealing with Covid-19 patients, by the end of 2021.

Several NGOs, SMEs, solopreneurs, and personalities have joined in the initiative, including Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Dr. Hartini Zainudin, Sazzy Falak, Jaclyn Victor, Douglas Lim, Dr. Jason Leong, Elvina Arul, celebrity photographer Kid Chan, and Director of Hospital Sungai Buloh Dr. Kuldip Kaur.

Members of the public are welcome to join the We Love You Box movement by taking part in a pledge via Facebook or Instagram, or by sending a message of gratitude and making a donation via the website. All proceeds will be channelled towards funding the care packs for medical frontliners.

Both menus come with optional cocktail pairing by Three X Co, as well as the usual grazing platters by That Last Bite, craft beers by Taps Beer Bar, and wines curated by Vintry. What’s more, pre-orders for Week 5 have also opened for deliveries on 16 to 19 September.
