7 Things to do this weekend: 3 & 4 December 2022

It’s the first weekend of December which means we are a few steps closer to Christmas! Rein in the holiday by exploring these fun Christmas-themed pop-ups, performances, and more around town. 


1. Hop on the holiday bus as Coach hits the road

When: 2 to 4 December 2022, 10am to 9pm

Where: APW, Bangsar

To celebrate the most wonderful time of the year, the fashion house has launched Coach on The Move, a bespoke holiday experience traveling to four major cities across West Malaysia. This weekend, the holiday bus will stop at APW Bangsar together with a life-sized inflatable of Rexy, the brand’s mascot. Explore the double-decker’s interiors that are decked with joyful Coach holiday decor and fashion accessories. Other fun-filled activations include multiple photo areas, outdoor lounges, a coffee truck by Gigi Coffee, a skincare booth by Chuck’s, and a Rexy figurine acrylic painting session for the little ones.

2. Explore Wanderlust + Co’s brand new store 

Where: Sunway Pyramid (LG1.63)

Fans of Wanderlust + Co’s jewellery should make their way to its first permanent store located in Sunway Pyramid. Reflecting the brand’s whimsical and zen image, the store features a serene and minimalist ambience with plenty of photo opportunities. This includes a secret garden room, mirror ceilings, a jewellery concierge and a beautifully designed arch window amongst flower paths and galaxy motifs. 3. Experience the glitz and glam of Cartier’s Christmas Lounge 

When: 25 November to 31 December 2022, 10am to 10pm

Where: East Entrance, The Gardens Mall

Not one to miss out on the fun, Cartier has taken over the East Entrance of the The Gardens Mall with its Christmas Lounge. Inspired by the bright lights and glam of Broadway, the radiant space welcomes you in with its specially made lightbulbs and plush red carpet. Make your way inside to discover various interactive points from a captivating Infinity Mirror to nostalgic postcard-writing stations.

4. Indulge in guilt-free gelato from XO-ice

This Sunday, tune in to a special performance as Suhaili Micheline takes centre stage to bring her art to life. Inspired by dance and movement, Micheline creates her art with her body as the paintbrush and her environment as the canvas—which means you might get painted on yourself! Accompanying her in this immersive art exhibition and live performance is Lyu Stankova on the cello.

7. Discover the meaning behind these ‘Objects of Affection’

When: 26 November to 18 December 2022, 11am to 6pm

Where: M Gallery, 8 Pjs 11/5, Bandar Sunway (first floor)

Fill your weekend with more artsy fun by dropping by the Objects of Affection group exhibition held at M Gallery. Curated by artist Kimberley Boudville, the exhibition features a range of emerging and established contemporary artists. Objects of Affection reflects Boudville’s relationship and philosophy for connecting, and explores the deep-rooted subconscious predispositions we have that make up the human condition.

Where: Pavilion, Level 1, Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, Resorts World Genting
