Balmain collaborates with Beats by Dr. Dre for a gold-tinged ‘Urban Safari’ collection
When fashion meets tech
On Wednesday, Beats by Dr. Dre unveiled news that delighted the fashion savvy and bass-loving audiophiles alike: the brand has collaborated with Balmain to give the Beats Studio Wireless headphones and Powerbeats3 Wireless earphones a makeover.
Inspired by Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing’s vision for an ‘Urban Safari’, the special editions Beats come in two colourways; ‘Safari’, a rose gold-tannish colour, and ‘Khaki’, the brand’s signature khaki green—both with sleek metallic gold accents, of course. ‘Safari’ is now available on the Apple store, while ‘Khaki’ will retail on the Balmain site and its New York and Los Angeles stores.
