1. ‘Barbie: World of Endless Possibilities Exhibition’ at Sunway Pyramid, 10am – 10pm, until 12 June 2016
Featuring an extensive display of over 250 Barbie dolls through various immersive installations and sections, the exhibition showcases the global icon’s past, present and future as well as the many careers and fashion designers she has explored working with. In addition, Barbie expanded their Fashionistas line with more diversified skin tones and body types earlier this year and these 23 new dolls will be displayed and available for sale at the exhibition.

2. CreativeMornings with Alina, Founder of the Craft Crowd at Uppercase Bangsar, 10am – 12pm, 11 June
Inspiration is everywhere and Creative Mornings is a new monthly breakfast and lecture series for the creative community in KL. This Saturday features The Craft Crowd founder, Alina who will be sharing her story and how we can overcome failure and turn them into an energy to grow as an artist.

3. Calligraphy for Beginners workshop at Delectable by Su, Glasshouse @ Seputeh, 10am – 1pm, 11 June
Learn the basics of modern calligraphy so that you can create beautiful birthday cards, wedding invites or to just plain have a pretty handwriting. You’ll learn the fundamental steps of preparing your own pen and nib, working with ink, applying the right amount of pressure, developing your own style while trying a few different common ones and more.

4. “Kumamoto Boleh!” charity event at Publika, 4pm – 9pm on 11 June and 10am – 3pm on 12 June
This is a great opportunity to discover Japanese culture and food while supporting the cause for Kumamoto, the place where there was a massive earthquake back in April. On Saturday, there will be some live cultural acts ranging from a Japanese traditional instrument ensemble by the Japan Club KL to a crystal singing bowl performance by Sari Miyata to an ikebana (Japanese traditional flower arrangement) demonstration. At the same time, there will be various Japanese food stalls for you to try. On Sunday, it will be a charity flea market selling Japanese goods and crafts.

5. Outdoor Sunset Yoga class under a dome at Xero Gravity Rock Climbing Gym, Petaling Jaya, 6.30pm – 8pm, 12 June
Imagine music playing to the gentle breeze with the sunset as the backdrop as you practise yoga under an expansive dome – it’s a mini yoga rave hosted by Xero Gravity Rock Climbing Gym which will be taught by Organica Lifestyle’s Cynthia.
