Alia B., the sister label to Alia Bastamam, has joined forces with homegrown footwear brand Machino to come up with a holiday-ready capsule collection. Named ‘Always’, the latest series boasts 11 wardrobe staples and four new sandals. Alia B’s unmistakable feminine charm shines through the ready-to-wear pieces and harmonises with Machino’s fun, versatile designs. The footwear is inspired by the illusion of silhouettes and sports the signature Hana flower in silver, gold, white, and beige finishes. The flats are half an inch in length, while the heels are two inches tall with a subtle swooping curve.

In line with its commitment to innovation and environmental sustainability, Nelissa Hilman recently launched its sustainable apparel series, with the first collection designed in collaboration with Shaofen Design Studio. Shao Fen becomes the first designer in the series and puts a playful twist to Hilman’s existing designs, making tailored basics more casual than serious. There’s also a neat use of colour blocking as well as a mix-and-match of fabrics that flatter the figures. Among the standouts are the scuba-fitted jacket, two-toned short-sleeve shirts and mini draped skirts. The Shaofen x Nelissa Hilman collection will be available for purchase until January 15, 2023.
