In Stores Now: Chanel’s travel-inspired Spring Summer 2016 collection

Direct from Paris and straight into a Chanel store near you, is the Chanel Spring Summer 2016 collection. Inspired by travel, Karl Lagerfeld reinterpreted Chanel’s house codes into new must-haves – the 11.12 handbag has been supersized to become a weekend bag, a vanity case becomes a day bag, and the star of the show, the Coco Case, Chanel’s new cabin luggage that comes in diamond or chevron-quilted leather, tweed and even in alligator, should you have a preference for exotic skins.

For evenings, you can also opt to take your luggage with you, in the form of a mini luggage minaudière in black resin and quilted leather, complete with real wheels. “We travel more and more,” says Lagerfeld. “So why shouldn’t there be Chanel luggage?”
