BURO Spotlights: The Rabanne H&M collection is an essential for partygoers

Following the success of its collaboration with Mugler earlier this year, H&M revealed an exciting partnership with Rabanne in October. If you haven’t heard, the Spanish brand is renowned for its daring and unconventional pieces, which makes the loud collection a perfect choice for those seeking shimmering designs and party-ready styles. Among the must-haves are the disc-o-rama dresses, fringed metal-mesh pieces and silky ribbed knits. 

There’s also the H&M Home collection, which includes soft furnishings, table-top accessories and furniture all covered in the House’s iconic metallics as well as geometric motifs reminiscent of the 1970s. If you fancy bold pieces in your living space, the metallic vases, candleholders, dice set, and deck of playing cards housed in elegant silver are your best bet. Not to be missed is the wide selection of luxurious loungewear like the monogrammed robes and blankets, as well as eye-catching rugs and cushions with geometric prints.

To celebrate the launch of the Rabanne H&M collection, an exclusive party was hosted in the H&M flagship store in the heart of Orchard, Singapore, earlier this month. The second level of the impressive building turned into a chic Parisian nightclub, complete with sleek metallic finishes and reflective surfaces that echoed Rabanne’s glamorous history.

The evening kicked off with a soulful performance by singer Keyana, followed by captivating dance routines by the Limited Edition dance squad and a performance by Singapore’s own heartthrob Glenn Yong. Guests also danced the night away with DJ Perry, who spun one trending hit after another.

The guest list was equally impressive, with prominent Malaysian and Singaporean personalities in attendance. Our cover star, Eyka Farhana came in chic with her black jersey puff-skirt dress and disc-embellished shoulder bag while Glenn Yong got all the head turns with his hooded fuzzy jacket and leopard print top inside.
