While online shopping can't replace the in-person experience of shopping at a physical store, many brands are stepping up their digital games to bring the essence of luxury directly to the comforts and safety of our homes. After all, whether it be to add a touch of luxe in your days at home or make someone’s day with a special gift, we could always do with a little retail therapy.
Though cases have remained sky-high here in Malaysia, things are opening up under Phase One of the National Recovery Plan. For the fully vaccinated (this means 14 days after your second dose of Pfizer, AstraZeneca, or Sinovac/28 days after one dose of Johnson & Johnson or Cansino), this includes some of your favourite stores so be sure to keep your digital vaccination certifications on hand and SOPs in mind when shopping. Introducing Gucci 9, the Italian luxury house's technology-powered customer touchpoint to help you get your hands on Gucci from home. Local shoppers can reach out via 1 800 819 298 while those overseas can call +603 40657211 to make an enquiry. Gucci 9 will then inform relevant stores with your information and an assigned CA will reach out to assist you with your purchases.
Alternatively, those who are fully vaccinated may visit stores in-person from 11am – 8pm daily.
Got your eye on a Louis Vuitton Capucines or keen to browse the AW21 time-travelling collection? The luxury brand's extensive offering can be found and shopped at www.louisvuitton.com as well as the Louis Vuitton app that's available on Apple and Google Play stores. Alternatively, home shoppers can dial in to Client Services at 1 300 888 586. The brand's Click and Collect service is unfortunately currently unavailable due to the pandemic, However, the good news is that all orders come with free delivery! One of the first luxury brands to adopt a digital strategy, it's a given that Burberry will be on this list. The British luxury brand offers free shipping and returns for purchased products on their e-commerce shop at my.burberry.com or via the Burberry app here. Note that all shipments are sent out from their UK HQ so allow the potential of delays from border disruptions. Upon registration at www.balenciaga.com, you'll be granted access to exclusive areas and services to shop Balenciaga online. Confirmed orders will be shipped out in 2 – 4 days via complimentary express delivery and if you need more help, you can reach out to client services via phone at +65 3163 9996 from Monday to Saturday, 10am – 9pm.
Though you can't bag a brand new Birkin online, you can find plenty of other shoppable Hermès products—from equestrian-inspired twillies to makeup and watches—via their e-commerce store. Customer service is available at 1800 819 255 from Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, to assist you in your search. All orders will be delivered in their iconic Bolduc ribbon-tied orange box (with the exception of certain items) through DHL, free of charge. There is also the option of collecting your items in-store at their Pavilion location.
For the fully vaccinated, Hermès will be reopening their stores next month so you can also pop by in-person then.
Saint Laurent's e-commerce store at ysl.com brings products from the French luxury brand's chic Parisian, rock 'n' roll-infused world directly to your fingertips. Enjoy complimentary delivery and returns across all of Malaysia. Both Versace stores (KLCC and Pavilion) will reopen tentatively from Sept 1 onwards if you'd rather walk in.
Coach on Delivery, Coach's complimentary home delivery service makes it decisively easy to shop the American luxury brand from home. To shop Celine, you may browse their collections online here, but purchases can only be made in-store.
The Celine boutique at Pavilion KL has recently reopened for fully vaccinated individuals and operates from 10am – 8pm daily. If you need further assistance on anything, you can reach the team at +603 2332 2088 or [email protected].
To shop at Dior, you can discover their collections on their website and place an order with your nearest boutique over the phone here. Once payment is confirmed, the brand will make delivery arrangements via your preferred mode of courier: Grab, self pick-up or delivery by sales associate.
Dior stores are also currently open from 10am – 8pm for those wanting to make an in-person visit.
You can shop Tory Burch via their Chat & Shop service on WhatsApp by reaching out to your nearest boutique here. Complimentary delivery is offered for purchases of RM600 and curbside pick-up is also available if you're not comfortable going into the mall.
Tory Burch has also reopened their stores for walk-in customers.
Valentino has reopened the doors to in-person visits at their Pavilion store from 12pm – 7pm daily. For those who prefer to shop from home, they also have a website where shoppers can have a view of what the boutique has in store. Alternatively, their KLCC branch has reopened for walk-in customers, from 10am – 10pm daily.
Like Celine, Max Mara offers online browsing of their current collections but purchases can only be made in-store. Their Pavilion location has reopened to fully vaccinated individuals from 10.30am – 8pm daily. As part of their home delivery service, Chloé offers Chat & Shop for those wanting to shop from home. For enquiries, WhatsApp the team at 012 989 1943. Complimentary delivery is offered with any purchase, excluding sunglasses and fragrances.
Alternatively, those who are fully vaccinated may walk in to their Pavilion boutique, from 10am – 8pm daily. Shoppers can also make a private appointment with the team via the same number above.
Fendi's collections are available for purchase via their website, and the brand offers free delivery and returns on all orders. If you have any enquiries, you may contact customer care at 1 800 818 155 from Monday to Friday, 10am – 7pm.
The brand has also reopened their stores at both Pavilion and KLCC, from 10am – 10pm daily to walk-in clients.
For those keen to get your hands on some fashion jewellery, you can shop online directly from Pandora Malaysia via WhatsApp at +60 18989 7908 and get your orders delivered straight to home. Finally, Southeast Asia's one-stop-shop of luxury and lifestyle fashion, Club 21, offers plenty of designer labels across various price points to shop from via their e-commerce site.
