If you're a diehard matte lipstick fan, Dida's growing range of lippies are just what you need in your arsenal, from matte lip cremes to lip glides. A standout is the Velvet Metallic Lip Creme that goes go glossy but leaves a matte finish with a metallic sheen.

5. Nita

One thing to love about Nita's lip colours is that it's made for hypoallergenic skin across all skin tones. Try the Moist Jumbo sticks for a hydrating pigmented finish, or go for Matte Lipsticks and Liquid Lipsticks if you prefer a matte look.

6. Orkid

Another halal-certified lipstick brand with local roots is Orkid Cosmetics. The vegan and cruelty-free label's bestselling liquid lipstick comes in 10 shades ranging from blush pink to brick red.
