Where do Malaysians like to travel to for New Year’s Eve?

If it’s too late to plan for any of the holidays we mentioned in our final 2017 travel guide, perhaps this might help instead: A ranking of the ten most popular New Year’s Eve destinations for Malaysian travellers this year. Do people prefer the peace and quiet of a nature getaway; or do they rather join in the parties at huge cities? A survey by Hotels.com revealed the latter to be the general/popular consensus with Bangkok taking the number one spot on the list.
