Here’s What a Serene Evening at Seri Embun, City of Elmina Looks Like

Within the City of Elmina, a bustling 5,000-acre urban township with a master development plan that spans up to 2040, there lies a distinctive neighbourhood where refined living quietly unfolds.

An address that prides itself on offering life above the everyday, Seri Embun rises as a 36-acre hillside enclave where even the simplest moments become long-lasting memories. With its dedication to slow and intentional living, we brought our Friends of BURO to the E&O Gallery at Seri Embun to experience the serenity of the property for themselves.

This intimate wellness-focused event welcomed guests to a ‘Sanctuary of Calm’, an immersive private ritual of sound, tea, and Qi that perfectly reflects Seri Embun’s tranquil enclave.

Upon arrival, guests were served with some light refreshments and given an overview of Seri Embun and Elmina’s exciting developments.

There’s no better way to experience Seri Embun’s offerings than to see them for yourselves. Soon after the welcome, guests were whisked away on a tour of the gated and guarded residential property’s impressive freehold three-storey superlink homes.

Each unit in these multigenerational homes features an expansive layout ranging from 2,982 to 3,339 sq ft. While touring, guests also looked out to the tree-lined setting, where a vast 2,700-acre forest reserve surrounds the neighbourhood, which further deepened the sense of calm. With its lush greenery, Seri Embun is a sustainability-focused residential development with green features and design all around, achieving the GreenRE Gold Provisional Certification.

Then, it was time for the highlight of the evening. At Seri Embun, this quiet yet pulsating rhythm of nature becomes an intrinsic part of everyday life. What better way to reflect this than with a series of wellness activities using the sounds of nature to elevate your daily rituals?

First, guests were led to an indoor hall where Aiwei Foo and Kent Lee of Shaman Tearoom began a restorative Qi-Gong session to loosen and centre the body. Then, Kent began a grounding meditation to guide guests into an introspective mood, complemented by the rhythmic patterns and soothing frequencies of sound bowls and layered vocals.

The session culminated in a special floating sound bath, where guests had the opportunity to partake in a one-of-a-kind sensorial sound healing in a tranquil pool setting outdoors. This activity offers a preview of Seri Embun’s central lifestyle hub—the first clubhouse in that area with comprehensive lifestyle and wellness amenities, dedicated to its residents.

Surrounded by the rhythmic sounds of nature and the calming ebb and flow of water, Kent and Aiwei concluded the session with a plethora of instruments, such as flute, wind chimes, and gong.

With bodies restored and minds rejuvenated, guests connected over canapés and beverages to commemorate an evening well-spent at the E&O Gallery at Seri Embun, City of Elmina.
