Ramadan 2026: The BURO Guide to Moreh Spots That Stay Open Late for Your Post-Iftar Hangouts

We clue you in to the updated Ramadan opening hours at some of our favourite cafés and restaurants around KL & PJ for all your moreh hangouts.

Late-night dining and cafe-hopping are pillars of local food culture. From the storied mamaks to the neighbourhood coffee hangouts, Malaysians love a good catch-up and cuppa. Over the month of Ramadan, the get-togethers tend to happen post-sundown, during and after iftar. As such, many local cafés and restaurants extend their hours to welcome those who are pining for a little midnight treat. No matter where you are, we’re confident you’ll be able to find a light in the night’s darkness. In other words, there is sure to be a café or restaurant open way past dinner time around you during this season.
