NYFW SS16: Tommy Hilfiger

Inspired by the beaches of Mustique where Tommy Hilfiger himself and a host of other celebs lounge during summer, the label’s spring/summer designs brought the eclectic island life to New York City.

From floral brights (inspired by renowned texture artist Josef Frank) to Rastafarian prints in crocheted sundresses and billowy kaftans, it was tropical wanderlust brought to life with each piece presented on the runway.

Playing along with the reggae theme were the accessories—striped bucket hats, sneaker mules, layered espadrilles, beach totes and multicoloured beaded jewelry. If this collection doesn’t convince you to take the next plane out to where the sun and sand is, we don’t know what will.
