Buro 24/7 Malaysia x Benefit Brow Party: The highlights
Buro 24/7 Malaysia hosted our very first brow party with Benefit Cosmetics Malaysia, with guests indulging in afternoon tea, a brow-some beauty demo and brow-filling activities

In conjunction with Benefit Cosmetics' newly-launched Brow Collection featuring nine amazing products to get the perfect pair of brows, Buro 24/7 Malaysia teamed up with Benefit Malaysia to host the first brow party ever at the beauty brand's flagship store in Starhill Gallery on 19 May. Guests including a few of our Friends of Buro and beauty bloggers—Carey Ng, Vanessa Tevi, Kitti Yiyi, Belinda Chee, Emily Kong, Anjoe Koh and Charis Ow among the few—were invited to indulge in a private high-tea session while exploring the new collection in-person.

After short welcome speeches from Buro 24/7 Malaysia Editor-in-Chief Cai Mei Khoo and Benefit Cosmetics Malaysia Assistant Marketing Manager Belinda Chong, guests indulged in afternoon tea, chicken pies and salads alongside checking out Benefit's Brow Collection that was part of the indulgent spread on the table.

Shortly after that, guests were treated to a fun (and educational) brow demonstration by Benefit National Brow Artist Rileen Chua who performed her brow-tastic tricks on beauty vlogger Mina Rosli. Mina, who was our model of the day, was clad in a summery getup courtesy of Michael Kors. After watching Rileen's demo, guests found out the reason behind our requests for their portraits before the party—they had to personally put these fresh skills to test on their brow-less Frida Kahlo inspired portraits that we distributed after the demo. Needless to say, we all got quite a kick out of finding out how we'd look sans brows!

But the fun didn't just end there—guests were led to the gift station inside the store, where a generous spread of Benefit Cosmetics products were laid out beautifully, including their bestsellers They're Real! Mascara and Push-Up Liner; and new favourite Dew The Hoola Liquid Bronzer. Guests were able to try out these products before they take home two of their choice, along with one exclusive Gimme The Magic Box that includes all nine products from the new Brow Collection. And of course, no party is complete without snapping Instagram-worthy photos at a snazzy photobooth—or in this case, a corner decorated with life-sized props of the newest brow products.
