9 Watches and Jewellery Updates to Know This March
No time to waste

Falling behind on the watches and jewellery scoops? That is perfectly understandable. Between the stunning culmination of awards season at the 97th Annual Academy Awards and the hullabaloo to celebrate the arrival of Ramadan, it is hard to keep tabs on the latest industry happenings. But fret not, that’s what we’re here for. In our March roundup, we’re breaking down the must-know releases, developments, and trends you won’t want to miss.
RICHARD MILLE RENEWS ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH FERRARI
The Richard Mille-Ferrari partnership once again goes into high gear with the RM 43-01 Tourbillon Split-Seconds Chronograph Ferrari. A formidable follow-up to the twosome’s debut venture in 2022, the timepiece marries the tourbillon split-second chronograph with Ferrari’s aesthetics. One of the standout features here is the Prancing Horse logo on the titanium plate within the movement. The limited-edition watch comes with a titanium case and a carbon version.
BVLGARI TAPS LOCAL CELEBRITIES FOR A NEW SERPENTI CAMPAIGN
Celebrating the timeless allure of its Serpenti line, Bvlgari has enlisted a handful of Malaysia’s notable figures for an exclusive campaign. Celebrity couple and actors Zahirah MacWilson and Aiman Hakim Ridza, in particular, steal the show. While the former stuns in the Serpenti Seduttori creations, the latter makes a bold statement with the Serpenti Viper pieces. Joining the pair are models cum content creators Alexis SueAnn, Batrisyia Razak, and Aniq Razak.
BLANCPAIN TAKES THE PLUNGE WITH FIFTY FATHOMS TECH BOC IV
Blancpain reiterates its stance on ocean preservation with the latest Blancpain Ocean Commitment (BOC) timepiece. Taking a symbolic approach in this endeavour, the Swiss luxury watchmaker has refitted its diver’s watch Fifty Fathoms Tech into a new 45mm titanium case. Limited to only 100 pieces, Fifty Fathoms Tech BOC IV represents a €100,000 contribution to the Sulubaaï Marine Research Center as the brand pledges €1,000 for every piece sold.
BREITLING REVISITS THE LEGENDARY NAVITIMER
Breitling takes flight with the latest edition of its Navitimer watch. Given a timely update, the iconic line features an ice-blue dial, platinum bezel, and stainless-steel case. That said, the main highlight here is the watchmaker’s first perpetual calendar chronograph manufacture movement. Featuring day, date, month, and moonphase, the Caliber B19 offers a formidable 96-hour power reserve and requires only minor adjustments to stay up to date for the next hundred years.
BEE DE CHAUMET BUZZES WITH NEW CREATIONS
Spring has finally sprung, and the only thing louder than the chirps of the birds are Chaumet’s bedazzled bees. Paying tribute to the beauty of nature, Bee de Chaumet has welcomed over a dozen new pieces to its collection. The pair of high jewellery earrings are especially noteworthy. Boasting mirror‐polished gold and brilliant‐cut diamonds—suspended to create the illusion of honeycomb cells—the pieces mark another high for the Parisian jewellery house.
TISSOT TURNS THE HEAT UP WITH PRC 100 SOLAR
Tissot’s PRC 100 timepiece, which debuted in the mid-2000s, is making a comeback. Dubbed the PRC 100 Solar, the latest iteration comes with the Lightmaster Solar Quartz movement. The advanced feature allows the watch to soak up natural and artificial light via solar panels before it’s converted and stored in a rechargeable accumulator. Complementing this technical ingenuity is the watch’s bold silhouette and a sunray dial that inspires an exciting interplay of textures.
QEELIN ENRICHES THE WULU GARDEN COLLECTION
If more proof of spring is needed, just take a look at the verdant arboretum of Qeelin. Its signature Wulu Garden line is now enriched with blossoming flowers in the shapes of necklaces and pendant earrings. Crafted in 18K white gold, the diamond-studded novelties bring a touch of colour to the plot with pink sapphires and amethysts. The use of Akoya pearls, a first for the brand, lends the collection a softness to balance it in harmony.
PIAGET UPDATES ITS LIMELIGHT GALA LINE
The celebrated Limelight Gala collection continues to dazzle the industry with its two exciting additions. Staying true to Piaget’s design DNA, the Limelight Gala Precious watches adopt the archival hand-engraved motif across the dials and bracelets. The diamond-set pink gold cases—one of them is also embellished with rubies and pink sapphires—hide the powerful self-winding 501P1 Manufacture movement. They are the exact embodiment of beauty and brawn.
CARTIER SET TO TAKE OVER V&A
Fans of Cartier rejoice! London’s Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) is staging its first major exhibition in nearly three decades and it revolves around Cartier’s most iconic jewels and watches. Raising its curtain on 12 April 2025, the showcase will chart the evolution of the Parisian luxury house with over 350 precious objects. One of the highlights here is the Scroll Tiara commissioned in 1902, which was worn to the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
