The Best Watches and Jewellery Moments From the 2025 Oscars

If there’s one thing better than winning an Oscar—well, maybe not better, but close—it’s showing up at the ceremony in award-worthy ensembles. The 97th Annual Academy Awards, drawing the curtains on the wildly unpredictable awards season, took its fans on one last roller coaster ride on the red carpet. Decked in stunning jewellery and watches, Hollywood’s biggest names sent a clear message as they descended upon the Dolby Theatre: go big or go home.
Best Actress winner Mikey Madison, for instance, revelled in her star-is-born moment with an archival Tiffany & Co. necklace in platinum-iridium with diamonds. The Anora star then paired the pièce de résistance with a diamond bracelet and ring, as well as a pink tourmaline ring. Emma Stone, who presented Madison with her gold statuette, stole the spotlight with her Perception ring and earrings from Louis Vuitton’s Awakened Hands, Awakened Minds high jewellery collection.
Standing shoulder to shoulder with these screen staples are our own favourite pop stars-turned-thespians. Emilia Pérez’s Selena Gomez especially flexed her jewellery-acting chops with a showstopping Bvlgari collar necklace. The Wicked twosome, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, similarly did not come to play. While the former opted for delicate De Beers pieces, the latter made a statement with Roberto Coin ear cuffs and a wristwatch on her—checks notes—nail.
Speaking of which, exquisite timepieces also made an impactful showing at the Oscars. Past winner Michelle Yeoh, for example, donned the snow-set Richard Mille RM 07-01 timepiece that seamlessly complemented the Boucheron jewels she had on. Best Actor frontrunner Timothée Chalamet continued his style streak with the Cartier Baignoire watch. The A Complete Unknown actor completed his look with the Love bangles and choker necklace by Cartier.
Another fashion darling of the season, Colman Domingo, did not disappoint as he cleverly matched his Boucheron pieces with the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional. Andrew Garfield took a subtler approach with an unassuming David Yurman pendant and the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watch. Heartstopper duo Kit Connor and Joe Locke, too, left an impression with the Tag Heuer Monaco and IWC Schaffhausen Portofino Automatic timepieces, respectively.
