The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso: An icon turns 85

Since its creation in 1931, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso has been an icon for the luxury Swiss watchmaker, winning hearts over with its unique reversible design. While some models feature a second dial to the back, others serve as the ideal place for personalistion, showcasing Rare Crafts such as engraving, gemsetting or enameling. The sleek, seemingly seamless lines of the casing render the signature rectangular silhouette timelessly elegant and sophisticated—a design that will undoubtedly stand the test of time.

Paying tribute to the milestone of Reverso’s 85th anniversary, Jaeger-LeCoultre presents new editions of the icon in the Classic and Tribute collections:

Reverso Classic Large Duo

Constantly jet-setting between two countries? The Reverso Classic Large Duo reduces the hassle of having to reset the time on your watch. Jaeger-LeCoultre has fitted this model with a movement capable of driving indications displayed on two separate dials, giving it a second timezone to the back. This model is available in steel or pink gold.

Reverso Tribute Duo

Exude classic sophistication with the Reverso Tribute Duo—the front dial is slightly grained, giving it a subtle depth effect, punctuated by the distinctive blue hour-markers. Swivel the case to reveal a pleasant surprise to the other side: a deep blue dial to the back presents a bolder, stronger aesthetic that is sure to be the envy of many.

Reverso Tribute Calendar

Driven by Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 853, the more complex Reverso Tribute Calendar displays the watchmaker’s expertise in sophisticated manner. The front features a traditional function and a complete calendar, while the back sets the exclusive Reverso Duo function in motion. The exquisite hammered moon-phase display is echoed in perfect symmetry on both sides.
