Striking timepieces for those who like sugar skull

The art of embroidery gets a striking treatment in the hands of Hublot, who has turned the Big Bang Broderie Skull Fluo into beautiful icons. This collection proudly continues on Hublot’s Art of Fusion approach to watchmaking where it works to shake up the existing codes and introduces exclusive designs.

For its Spring 2017 collection, the limited edition Big Bang Broderie Skull Fluo watches get updated with the Bischoff embroidery from St Gallen. The Swiss brand Bischoff is traditionally known for its high quality and creative embroidery through précised and cutting-edge innovation. Its master artisans created the delicate embroidery on the Big Bang Broderie Skull Fluo watches using a special fluorescent thread featuring floral arabesque motifs. Thus, subtly revealing the ‘skull’ design that adorns the dial.

The four limited edition models are decorated in the bright shades of cobalt blue, sunflower yellow, hot pink and malachite green. Set against the black ceramic, the fluorescent lace pattern brings a striking contrast to add depth to the watch’s original design. Each piece is adorned with 12 coloured gemstones to match the shade of the dial decorations while the polished bezel is lined with 36 mire precious stones. To make a further statement, the straps are embroidered with a bright applique.

The Hublot Big Bang Broderie Skull Fluo is limited to 100 pieces worldwide.
