‘Panerai – Dive into Time’ opens in Florence today

From 18 to 21 May 2016, Panerai takes over almost 1,000 square metres of space in the Marino Marini Museum as it displays the history and future of its legacy at Piazza San Pancrazio—the ancient crypt of the former Basilica of San Pancrazio. Named ‘Panerai – Dive into Time’, the exhibition will showcase the brand’s journey from a humble Florentine watchmaker’s to a world-renowned brand of luxury sports watches.

At the exhibition, watch enthusiasts will be treated to a previously unseen collection of creations, including the first instruments made by Panerai family at the start of the last century, iconic watches created for the Royal Italian Navy from the 1930s to the 1950s, as well as a plethora of models created in the period of near 20 years in which the Richemont Group has owned it. That covers the past and the present, as for the future? Panerai will present a world preview of an impressive selection of new models.

The ‘Panerai – Dive into Time’ exhibition will be held at Piazza San Pancrazio, Museu Marino Marini from 18-21 May 2016.
