Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils first Japanese flagship in Tokyo

November 9th, 2016 marks the inaugural unveiling of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s flagship in Tokyo, Japan. Joining the ranks of a select range of prestigious brands on the premier luxury shopping avenue in Ginza, Namiki-dōri Street, the renowned Swiss maison of fine horology officiated its grand-opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and cocktail reception attended by 150 guests.

Japanese actress and special guest for the event, Maki Tamaru wore a Reverso One High Jewellery with a couture strap by Christian Louboutin. Also on display were exclusive timepieces—the Reverso One High Jewellery, an exquisite expression of femininity, alongside the grande complication watch, Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon.

The 100-square-metre single floor enclave of refinement and discreet luxury makes up the Jaeger-LeCoultre Ginza boutique, which is entirely devoted to showcasing the brand’s timepieces. A special area reserved for a Jaeger LeCoultre watchmaker—who will handle maintenance and other interventions—evokes an invitation to enter the fascinating world of the Manufacture. In the warm, luminous space, the hope is to deliver an authentic horological experience and convey true passion for the craft through its past, present and future.
