Established on the island since 1975, John Hardy’s creations have made a name for themselves as the pinnacle of artisanal hand-crafted jewellery in Bali. In honour of the lush landscape that inspires the brand and rich Balinese tradition, the production of every piece of jewellery is entrusted to local artisans and utilises only reclaimed gold and silver. Exemplifying responsible luxury, John Hardy’s “Greener Every Day” project allows customers to help them plant bamboo by purchasing pieces from the Bamboo Collection. To date, the initiative has yielded 900,000 seedlings that half neutralise the company’s carbon footprint.

Visit the John Hardy Ubud Workshop and Kapal Bambu Boutique at Jl. Raya Mambal, Br. Baturning No. 1, Mambal, Abiansemal, Mambal, Abiansemal, Kabupaten Badung, Bali

Unlike the ubiquitous metalsmiths on the island, Jemme’s specialty lies in opulent gemstones, as one might predict. At Jemme, a mix of both classic and contemporary pieces are made, reflecting the vibrancy and eclecticism of Bali. Led by Head Designer, the jewellery team crafts each piece by hand – imparting as much care and passion into a little memento trinket as they would a dazzling heirloom piece.

Jemme Bali is located on Jl Petitenget 28, Seminyak, Bali.
