BURO Spotlights: Inside Jacob & Co.’s ‘The World Is Yours’ Exhibition

Tick-tock, the truth is out. Jacob & Co. has found a new home at the SHH (Sincere Haute Horlogerie) boutique located in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Revered by the international watch community for its audacious creativity and mechanical ingenuity, the brand now sets its sights on local watch enthusiasts, whose tastes are unbound by convention. Getting the ball rolling is the awe-inspiring The World is Yours exhibition.
Happening across the Sincere Fine Watches boutique until 15th June 2025, the showcase puts Jacob & Co.’s iconic masterpieces and latest novelties on display. From the hypercar-inspired Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon Baguette to the kaleidoscopic Brilliant Baguette Rainbow, guests are promised a closer look at the watchmaker’s decades-spanning history. Each timepiece serves as a reminder of the brand’s relentless pursuit of innovation.
The Astronomia Revolution Four-Axis Tourbillon, for instance, demonstrates Jacob & Co.’s direction to perfection. Launched in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Astronomia collection, this chronometric work of art marks a world-first in haute horology. It adopts the principles of astrophysics and delivers a high complication that masterfully orchestrates the tourbillon’s rotation at three speeds—60, 18, and 15 seconds.
“We create watches that tell more than time—they tell stories of ambition, innovation, and the desire to push beyond boundaries,” says founder and chairman Jacob Arabo, whose vision and spirit have played a key role in shaping the brand into what it is today, in a statement. “The World is Yours is not just the name of this exhibition—it is a reflection of what we believe: that if you dream big, anything is possible,” he adds.
Kicking off the event on a high note, Sincere Fine Watches flew in the lead watchmaker at Jacob & Co. Bahman Tagharrobi for the opening ceremony. Offering more than just a warm welcome, he opened a window into the complex world of high watchmaking, much to the delight of those in attendance. The guests then explored the exhibition area and participated in the engaging activities and workshops celebrating the artistry of Jacob & Co.
